Enjoying caramel truffles at Kristi's Kandies

Linda and I found another gem. Okay, technically, we just followed the Register's list but we do recognize good when we see / taste it. Kristi's Kandies in Storm Lake has some excellent offerings. The item on the list is the caramel truffle so we were sure to get that. They looked so good and their reputation being so good, we opted to get two each of the raspberry and chocolate.

While Linda was getting the truffles, I was checking out the slabs of fudge behind the glass. Linda asked where it was made. "In the kitchen downstairs. You should try the pumpkin." The lady behind the counter cut off a slim sample and split it in two for Linda and me to try. It was like eating pumpkin pie! It was amazing. She offered us another sample; it too was too good to believe. We added a couple of small squares of fudge to our purchase. They were excellent!
