Stanton, Iowa, has a pair of water towers that beg the question: why? Shaped like a coffee pot and companion cup, these two remind you that Folgers Coffee's Mrs. Olson was born Virginia Christine Kraft in this neat, Swedish town. The towers are not close together and take a little looking to find (odd in an Iowa community) but, clearly, I found them.

Exploring a little of the Iowa-coffee connection
Stanton, Iowa, has a pair of water towers that beg the question: why? Shaped like a coffee pot and companion cup, these two remind you that Folgers Coffee's Mrs. Olson was born Virginia Christine Kraft in this neat, Swedish town.
