Shooting in the rain

One of the shots I'd really wanted to get was of a heavy rain, ideally with lightning. I grabbed the camera, picked up Linda, and we drove around looking for a good image that said "Rain." It was already late in the afternoon so light was soon a challenge. Finally, as we were passing through the Court Avenue district of Des Moines, I saw the opportunity to get my shot. We set up the tripod on the street level of a parking ramp and got this shot; I like it.
